Guillem Balague has claimed on Twitter that Paris Saint-Germain want €180 million (£156.41 million) for Kylian Mbappe, amid reported interest from Liverpool.
PSG striker Mbappe has been strongly linked with Liverpool. Duncan Castles has said on the Transfer Window Podcast that the Frenchman’s first-choice club, if he leaves, would be the Reds, as covered by HITC Sport.
Journalist Ian McGarry has previously said on the Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool are looking into the possibility of signing Mbappe from PSG in the summer of 2021, as covered by HITC Sport.
ESPN claimed in January 2021 that the striker would be keen on a move to Liverpool, while L’Equipe reported in September that Liverpool are planning to make a move for the France international in the summer of 2021.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Balague has now said on Twitter that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants €180 million (£156.41 million) as transfer fee, and that he has offered Mbappe a new deal.

Unlikely Liverpool transfer?
While Mbappe would be a blockbuster signing for Liverpool, it is unlikely that a transfer will happen this summer.
PSG could go on and win the Champions League as well as Ligue 1 this season, and the 22-year-old could then be tempted to carry on at the French club.
Moreover, Liverpool may not be able to afford the €180 million (£156.41 million) transfer fee that PSG reportedly want.
