Charles Watts has claimed on his YouTube channel that Arsenal still like David Raya.
The Arsenal correspondent for Goal.com has said that Arsenal remain interested in the Brentford goalkeeper.
The 25-year-old Spaniard was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer.
The Sun reported in September 2020 that the Gunners were ready to pay £10 million for Raya as a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez, who joined Aston Villa for £20 million.
The Telegraph claimed in January 2021 that Mikel Arteta’s side could make a move for the former Blackburn Rovers star this summer.
Watts said on his YouTube channel: “Arsenal are looking at Onana, the Ajax ‘keeper. They like David Raya as well. If Bernd Leno is going to go this summer, it could well happen.”
Arsenal appear to be keen on signing a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.
Given that the Gunners reportedly wanted Raya last summer, it does not come as a surprise that the North London club still have him on their radar.

The 25-year-old has been at Brentford since 2019 and has helped the Bees reach the Championship playoffs this season.
Bernd Leno is the first-choice goalkeeper at Arsenal, but the German does need competition.
Mat Ryan is Leno’s back-up, but the Australia international is only on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
There is also Runar Alex Runarsson, but the Iceland international has simply not done enough to suggest that he could really compete for the number one shirt.
