Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte will be gearing up for his side’s biggest test of the Premier League campaign, a visit to Arsenal next week.

The Emirates Stadium plays host to a North London derby on Saturday week as the top-of-the-table Gunners welcome Conte’s Spurs side.

This will be the Italian manager’s second time meeting Arsenal as Tottenham manager, with the Lilywhites thumping Mikel Arteta’s side 3-0 back in May for a defeat that helped to end their hopes of Champions League football this season.

However, this will be a far more difficult outing for Spurs, particularly in light of an injury worry.

Ben Davies sat out the victory over Leicester City last weekend due to injury and Tom Barclay, a journalist from The Sun, has revealed that the Wales international – who missed the Nations League defeat by Belgium yesterday – has suffered a fracture to a bone near his knee.

He told Give Me Sport: “I’m led to believe there’s a hairline fracture on the bone underneath his knee, which sounds pretty bad, but I don’t think it’s actually as serious as it sounds by any stretch.”

Football London has previously reported that he could miss the visit to Arsenal and having been absent for his country on Thursday night, well it doesn’t look promising that he’ll be available for the trip to the Emirates.

Fortunately, Conte has the excellent Clement Lenglet who he can use in his three-man defence again, alongside Eric Dier and Cristian Romero.

Barclay obviously added that Davies’s injury isn’t as serious as it sounds, but eight days might be a little optimistic when it comes to recovery time.
