Jose Mourinho has said on talkSPORT (9:17am, June 18, 2021) that he does not plan to sign Aston Villa star Jack Grealish for AS Roma.
Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mourinho raved about Grealish last week.
Mourinho compared the Villa attacking midfielder to former Real Madrid and Portugal international star Luis Figo.
The 25-year-old, who can also play as a winger, subsequently responded to Mourinho’s comments and spoke highly of the Portuguese.
The former Manchester United and Chelsea boss was asked this morning if he would like to sign Grealish for his new club Roma.

Mourinho responded on talkSPORT (9:17am, June 18, 2021): “Look, I think he knows where he wants to go, I think he knows the type of club to be able to buy him.
“My friend Christian Purslow also knows the value of the player, and of course that is not for Roma. If it is for Italian football, it would be a different club, not for us.”
Manchester City rumour
The Express & Star reported in April that Manchester City want Grealish.
Villa reportedly value the England international at £100 million.
Roma are not going to be able to afford £100 million for any player now.

City are a massive club who will aim to win the Premier League and the Champions League next season.
Grealish would be more tempted to move to the Etihad Stadium than to Roma.
Mourinho’s comments about Grealish and Figo show just how good he is, and how much of an impact he would be able to make on Premier League champions City.
