Towards the end of the 2021-22 campaign, there were concerns that Tottenham might lose Antonio Conte to PSG – but Jose Mourinho could be about to end that. Mourinho is a reported target for PSG.
With a place in the top four in doubt and Conte only contracted to Spurs until June 2023, the Italian was being linked with a move to the French Champions. Prior reports claim Conte even offered himself to PSG.
French journalist Julien Laurens said Conte’s representatives had been in talks with PSG, with Mauricio Pochettino expected to leave the Parc des Princes. But now, Conte looks set to remain in North London.

Spurs have finished above Arsenal in fourth and will be in the Champions League next season. They have also started their summer spending spree, bringing in Ivan Perisic – a player Conte loves, forming a reunion.
Mourinho could end Tottenham concerns of losing Conte to PSG
The concern regarding Conte’s future is pretty-much over. He will be expecting a big summer to improve his Spurs side, and the early signs are promising with Perisic brought to the club on a free.
Now, another ex-Spurs boss Mourinho could put the final nail in the coffin regarding any remaining concern. That is, because The Telegraph say Roma manager Mourinho is being considered by PSG.
There had been belief that Mourinho has entered the twilight of his career. No longer a modern manager and unwilling to further his ideas – but he has won the Conference League with Roma, finishing in sixth.
Roma are delighted with Mourinho. But clearly, his work has attracted PSG – and France will surely tempt Mourinho given he has never worked there. A move to PSG could materialise, and it would end any Conte exit doubts.
