The Sheffield Wednesday striker is currently on loan to Saturday’s opponents, Norwich City.

Jordan Rhodes’ future is unlikely to be decided before next summer, according to the on-loan Norwich City striker’s manager at Sheffield Wednesday.
Rhodes has scored seven goals in 18 games since joining the Canaries on a temporary basis, prompting some Owls fans to call for his return to Hillsborough in January.
Asked, however, if the club-record signing could still have a future at Sheffield Wednesday, Jos Luhukay told the club’s official Facebook page: “I cannot give an answer about that. I have not seen him live in the last months.
“He was not always a first-11 player. But in the time that he’s played he’s scored some goals.
“I’m very happy for Jordan, but again, the season is long and we will see next summer what the future will be for him.”
Norwich travel to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Saturday, although Rhodes will not be available as per the terms of his loan agreement.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed a good run of games in the absence of Teemu Pukki, who is City’s top scorer this season.
But having missed notable chances in his last two outings – including one from the penalty spot – Rhodes could find his placed seized by Pukki in the coming weeks.

Rhodes is understood to be among the highest earners at Sheffield Wednesday – taking home £38,500-a-week, according to the Sun – for whom he has scored just 10 goals in 55 games.
