Rhodes move from Sheffield Wednesday to Norwich City was announced on Tuesday.

Norwich City will pay £3 million to loan Sheffield Wednesday’s Jordan Rhodes for the season, the Sun reports on its liveblog.
Rhodes’ move, which was announced earlier on Tuesday, follows a disappointing 18 month spell at Hillsborough.
Wednesday are said to have paid a club-record fee of £8 million for the Scotland striker, who earns around £38,500 a week according to the Sun.
And the newspaper claims that despite Rhodes’ poor form Norwich will pick up his full wage, at a cost of £2 million – with a £1 million loan fee also due.

Rhodes’ move was reported to have fallen through late last week, but according to the Sun Norwich have been helped by the imminent and someone unexpected transfer of their former youth goalkeeper Angus Gunn from Manchester City to Southampton, which it is claimed could generate a £2-million-plus windfall.
The 28-year-old, who only scored eight of his 99 Championship goals for Sheffield Wednesday, will reunite with former teammates Ben Marshall, Grant Hanley and James Husband at Carrow Road.
