Jordan Pickford is always available for Everton.
Since moving to Goodison Park from Sunderland in 2017, Jordan Pickford hasn’t missed many matches for the Blues, staying fit and available whenever he’s needed.
The 30-year-old now has 347 appearances under his belt in all competitions for Everton.
Speaking after Milner’s record-breaking appearance, Joe Cole tipped Pickford as a future contender to break that same mark one day.
Joe Cole comments on Jordan Pickford following James Milner’s record

Speaking on The Dressing Room podcast, Joe Cole, Wayne Bridge and Carlton Cole were discussing who – if anybody – from the current Premier League players might eventually break Milner’s record of 654 appearances.
Bridge was initially doubtful, saying: “I don’t see many people beating it.”
Carlton Cole responded by pointing to the younger start ages in football: “I think there will be, the way football is, they’re starting now so young.”
Joe Cole then considered Pickford, who made his Premier League debut for Sunderland at 21, asking: “Someone like Jordan Pickford?”
Pickford has made 351 top-flight appearances over a decade-long career. He’d likely need to play until he was 41 to pass Milner’s total, all while holding down a starting spot either at Everton or elsewhere.
It’s a tall order. But considering that Milner was still playing midfield at Brighton into his forties, there’s no reason why Pickford couldn’t still be between the sticks in his early forties.
Jordan Pickford’s standing in Everton’s Premier League appearance list
While topping the overall Premier League appearances chart will be a challenge, Pickford looks set to climb his way to the top of Everton’s list.
Seamus Coleman currently leads that group with 372 league appearances for the club.
Pickford isn’t far off, currently in sixth place with 320 matches played.
If he remains Everton’s first-choice keeper for another couple of seasons, he should have every chance to overtake Coleman at the top of the list.
