West Ham United fans were critical of Jordan Hugill’s performance against Dagenham & Redbridge.

Jordan Hugill is sure to be gutted after reading West Ham United fans’ opinions of him, after his performance against Dagenham and Redbridge in midweek.
HITC Sport covered how Hugill had been criticised for his showing in the contest, despite his goal.
Hugill added West Ham’s third in the contest, as they picked up a 3-1 win over their non league opponents.
And the target-man told West Ham’s official website how he thought he had played well in the contest.

“I’d like to think I gave a good account of myself,” Hugill said. “Obviously, the goal was good for me and good for the team and the 90 minutes I played and the hard work I put in should put me in the manager’s mind.”
However, Hugill may be learning about the high standards at West Ham, as his performance drew a completely different reaction from supporters.

Hugill only moved to West Ham from Preston North End in January in a £10 million switch, but he has been used very sparingly.
The powerful forward has been given just two substitute appearances so far, and will be hoping to play a more prominent role over the run-in.
