John Terry spent nearly his entire career playing for Chelsea, seeing a long list of top players come and go, but it appears not everyone saw eye-to-eye with him during that time.
His leadership qualities were obvious throughout his career, guiding the club to five Premier League titles and being the captain when Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012.
Over those years, he played alongside plenty of top names. When asked who stood out above the rest, Terry picked Frank Lampard over others like Eden Hazard and Didier Drogba.
John Terry reveals which two Chelsea teammates annoyed him most
Two players who are fondly remembered by Blues supporters, Costa and Luiz, both had significant spells at Stamford Bridge. Luiz even partnered Terry at the back for a period.
However, Terry didn’t always see eye-to-eye with them off the pitch. The former England captain admitted that both Luiz and Costa were the two teammates who wound him up the most during training sessions.

Costa has always been a player known for ruffling feathers, often getting under the skin of opponents. And even now, he hasn’t really changed much since his Premier League days.
During an international break charity match at Stamford Bridge, Costa ended up in a heated exchange with Martin Skrtel. It was another reminder that his fiery nature is still very much part of his game.
Costa’s warcry to Terry upon Chelsea arrival
That competitive edge was clear from the moment Costa arrived in West London, as he made his presence known early on.
According to a report from the Evening Standard back in 2016, the striker introduced himself with a direct message to some of the squad’s key players.

“Oscar introduces Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic and Matic to Diego Costa. They shake hands, then Costa straightens up and delivers his pitch in heavily-accented halting English.”
The Spain international helped Chelsea win two of the Premier League titles during Terry’s time at the club. Even if things weren’t always smooth off the pitch, their partnership delivered where it mattered most.
