Some Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the Magpies remain hopeful of a deal for Joe Willock.

Arsenal have handed Emile Smith Rowe a new contract.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, linked with a move to Aston Villa, has put pen to paper on a long-term contract.
According to Sky Sports, Newcastle are now hopeful that Smith Rowe’s new contract might accelerate their move for his Arsenal teammate Willock.
The Magpies have already approached the Gunners over bringing back the 21-year-old.

Willock spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle from Arsenal.
The English midfielder did extremely well for the Magpies and helped keep the club in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for Steve Bruce’s side.
Wilock scored eight goals in those games.
It will be interesting to see what Arsenal and their manager Mikel Arteta decide to do regarding the future of Willock.
