Joe Hart has told The Daily Mail exactly what Nuno said to him at Tottenham Hotspur that instigated his departure from Spurs and eventual move to Celtic.
Hart left Tottenham to join Scottish Premiership giants Celtic in the summer transfer window.
The London Evening Standard reported that the Hoops paid Spurs £1 million in transfer fee for the former Manchester City goalkeeper.
Hart joined Tottenham on a free transfer last summer when Jose Mourinho was in charge of the North London club.
The goalkeeper told The Daily Mail: “I like to commit, I like to wear the badge properly for the team I represent.
“And then, two or three weeks into pre-season, I was told: ‘No matter what happens, you will not kick a ball for Tottenham’.”
Hart added: “Yep. That’s what Nuno (Espirito Santo) wanted. I never really had a conversation with him and the one conversation that we did have was that one.”

Succeeding at Celtic
Hart was a back-up to Hugo Lloris at Tottenham last season, and it was always unlikely that he was going to be the number one anytime soon.
The 34-year-old is a very experienced goalkeeper who is doing well at Celtic where he is the first choice.

Hart is in his mid-30s now and is clearly past his prime, but he is good enough to do a decent job in Scotland.
Celtic are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season and will also play in the Europa League.
The former Burnley goalkeeper will play a big role in the Hoops’ quest this season.
