Jody Morris, who used to play for Chelsea, has also praised Estevao.
The 46-year-old says he sees a strong work ethic in the Brazilian’s game, which is not always something linked to South American forwards.
“For someone so young, I think he offers a little bit of everything. I think he works hard, which is something that you wouldn’t necessarily aim at maybe some South Americans that are known for dribbling and having amazing attacking skills,” he told talkSPORT.
Chelsea are already looking well-stocked out wide, but there could be another addition next summer. Geovany Quenda is expected to make the move from Sporting Lisbon.
With Pedro Neto as a reliable option on the right wing, Estevao could assume a No.10 role.
Anyway, Maresca may need to carefully manage his squad if he wants to keep everyone involved happy with their playing time.

Morris seems to be on point with his assessment of Estevao, and there are numbers that support what the former Chelsea assistant manager said.
FBref stats show that the Brazilian star is averaging 1.80 tackles per 90 minutes, ranking him in the 86th percentile among attacking midfielders and wingers.
This will be good news for Maresca, who wants his team to press and win back possession high up the pitch.
While it is positive to see Estevao helping out defensively, what really stands out is his impact in the final third. He will be looking to continue that form against Arsenal and beyond.
