Stoke City fans appear delighted with their team’s performance during the 3-1 Premier League win against Swansea City – as demonstrated by the reactions on Twitter. Here’s a taste of the Stoke fans’ post game thoughts.
Stoke City’s Ramadan Sobhi celebrates their second goal with Wilfried Bony
After a poor start to the campaign, in which manager Mark Hughes faced fierce criticism from Stoke City fans, the Potters have turned their season around and demonstrated a confident showing throughout their victory against Swansea City.
It was Wilfried Bony, Joe Allen and Ramadan Sobhi who clearly grabbed the attention of Stoke fanatics.
Wilfried Bony recorded his first strikes for the club to end his twenty game run without a goal, which were both assisted by another former Swansea star – the in-form Joe Allen, who has evidently established popularity on Twitter.
Stoke City representation on Twitter was able to see the silver lining to the cloud that was the withdrawal of the recently fantastic Xherdan Shaqiri to injury mid-way through the first half – as the highly rated Ramadan Sobhi entered the contest.
Indeed, it was the display of the Egyptian that impressed the Stoke faithful – who, it appears, had been excitingly anticipating the 19-year-old’s impact.
It wasn’t long before the Stoke substitute made an impression on the game, as Sobhi’s trickery and energetic performance on the left hand side began to give Swansea some major problems, which was duly noted on Twitter.

Stoke will hope to continue their good run of performances and Premier League results when they travel to West Ham United in their next fixture – with fans certainly more behind the team compared to the early weeks of the season. Seeing off Swansea has done no harm whatsoever.
