Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard has praised West Ham United star Declan Rice on Instagram for his performance for England.
Lingard, who can also operate as a winger, was impressed by the performance of Rice during England’s 1-0 win against Croatia in Euro 2020 on Sunday.
The 28-year-old, who spent the second half of the past season on loan at West Ham from United, has described midfielder Rice as a “big baller”, as shown below.
Much has been made about Leeds United midfielder Phillips and how good he was.
The 25-year-old was arguably the best player on the pitch and also provided the assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal.

However, Rice’s contribution to the win cannot be ignored at all.
The 22-year-old sat back in midfield, and that allowed Phillips to move forward.
Rice, who is also able to play as a central defender, was very good in possession, read the game well, and nullified all danger.
The midfielder had a pass accuracy of 87.5%, won two headers, took 53 touches, and made one tackle and two clearances,
For England to win Euro 2020, Rice will be a big player for the Three Lions.
