Jamie O’Hara has admitted on Twitter that he was wrong about Leeds United and England international midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has admitted that he did not think that Leeds star Phillips was ready for the Euro 2020 finals.

However, the Sky Sports and talkSPORT pundit has admitted that he was wrong about the 25-year-old.

O’Hara made the aforementioned comments following Phillips’s heroics for England against Croatia in their opening Euro 2020 game.

The Leeds star provided a wonderful pass for Raheem Sterling to score for the Three Lions in the 57th minute of the Group D game.

It was a wonderful pass from Phillips, who was playing in the Championship just 12 months ago.

The 25-year-old was superb for Leeds this past season and has deservedly got the chance to play for England at the Euro 2020 finals.

Phillips was brilliant for England against Croatia and showed what he is capable of.

The Englishman held his own in the middle of the park, showed brilliant passing range, broke Croatia’s play, and also drove the team forward.

The ‘Yorkshire Pirlo’ will be a big player for England this summer.
