Jamie Redknapp has claimed that Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has ‘every single technique’ in the book, as he told Sky Sports Premier League (10/05/22 at 7:10 pm).
The Sky pundit added by saying that Liverpool simply can’t allow Mane to leave amid rumours that Bayern Munich are interested, as reported by Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The 30-year-old showcased his worth once more on Tuesday night when he netted the winning goal during Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
Jurgen Klopp’s side came from behind to keep the Premier League title race alive – although, Manchester City responded by putting an emphatic five past Wolves on Wednesday night.
Nonetheless, when talking about the importance and quality of Mane, this is what Redknapp had to say about the Senegal superstar.
“He’s an incredible player,” said Redknapp. “He sets the tempo and works extremely hard when he hasn’t got the ball. And he is also clinical in front of it.
“You give him a sniff, he will finish it with a header, a volley, he has every single technique that you want. I have been so impressed with him.
“Mane is a vital component in what Liverpool have done over the years. There has been talk about Bayern Munich. You can’t let this guy go. He is so important. As important as any of them. You have to keep him here.”

BAYERN MUNICH INTERESTED IN SADIO MANE
Could Sadio Mane leave Liverpool? Well, the German champions, Bayern Munich, are showing interest in the Africa Cup of Nations star.
Liverpool fans will, no doubt, want the versatile forward to stay put, but former Reds goalkeeper, David James, thinks this is the ample chance for him to leave.
It could be argued since Mane returned from AFCON duty, he has perhaps been Liverpool’s most valuable player.
From an attacking sense, he has outperformed Mo Salah during these last few months, as well as Diogo Jota and new boy, Luis Diaz, who has started like a man possessed.
