Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (9:49am, January 17, 2022) that he would love Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur to sign Raphinha from Leeds United.
The former Tottenham midfielder has said that he is a big fan of Raphinha, and would love it if Spurs signed the winger from Premier League rivals Leeds.
The talkSPORT pundit, though, has added that he does not think that Leeds will sell the 25-year-old Brazil international.
O’Hara made the comments following Leeds’s 3-2 win against West Ham United at London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Raphinha gave an assist and went close to scoring with a fee kick.
O’Hara said about Raphinha: “He glides past people, the way he moves, the fire kick he almost scored. Everything about his game…
“I would love him at Spurs, I would love him. But I don’t know if he would ever come, and Leeds definitely wouldn’t sell him. Brilliant player.”
Raphinha would be brilliant for Tottenham
In our view, Raphinha would be a brilliant signing for Tottenham and would make Conte’s side so much better.
Now, we do not think that Leeds will sell the 25-year-old in the January transfer window.
After all, the Brazilian is an important player in Bielsa’s team, who are still in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

However, there is a chance that Leeds may have to sell Raphinha in the summer of 2022.
Yes, Leeds are a big club, but they are not in a position to challenge for the European places in the Premier League anytime soon.
Raphinha is a Brazil international now, and like any player, he will surely have the desire to play in big competitions and win major trophies.
If a Champions League club or a team challenging for top honours come for him in the summer of 2022, then Raphinha could be tempted to move.
We have already covered reports that Liverpool and Bayern Munich are looking at Raphinha.
Raphinha scores goals, creates chances and works hard, and we think that he would fit in perfectly in Conte’s system at Tottenham.
The Leeds no. 10 has scored 14 goals and created 18 big chances in 48 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
