Jamie O’Hara has said that Danny Welbeck is good enough to play for Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player and talkSPORT pundit seems to rate Welbeck highly.
So, what has Jamie O’Hara said about Danny Welbeck and Manchester United? Let’s take a look.
Danny Welbeck could still play for Manchester United
Well, former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck was in action for Brighton and Hove Albion this past weekend.
Brighton hammered Crystal Palace, who could now sack Roy Hodgson as their manager, 4-1 at home in the Premier League.
Welbeck provided an assist. The 33-year-old striker has scored two goals and given one assist in 11 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Seagulls this season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur player and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara was impressed by the display produced by Welbeck and thinks that the striker could still turn out for Manchester United
Welbeck came through the United academy system and played for the first team before being sold to Arsenal in 2014.
Louis van Gaal was in charge of the Red Devils at the moment, and he did not think that Welbeck was good enough to score goals regularly.
O’Hara said about Welbeck on talkSPORT (7 pm, February 3, 2024): “I have to say. Danny Welbeck upfront, I don’t even know how old he is now, but he must be getting on, he still looks like he could play for Man United.”
My View: Danny Welbeck was never good enough for Manchester United
In my opinion, Danny Welbeck was never good enough to lead the line for Manchester United. The striker did not have the best of times at Arsenal either.
Just because Welbeck plays well on occasion for Brighton and Hove Albion does not mean that United or Arsenal should regret not having him in their squad now.
The forward has scored 64 goals and given 27 assists in 319 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Welbeck scored 29 goals in 142 appearances for United, who are scouting Atalanta duo Giorgio Scalvini and Ederson.
