Jamie Carragher labelled Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham an ‘absolute superstar’ for his stunning goal during Borussia Dortmund’s 4-1 win over Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Legendary striker Thierry Henry was in agreement, as he was purring in the background as replays of Bellingham’s goal were being shown, as he told CBS Sports (05/10/22 at 10:30 pm).
Last Friday, 19-year-old Bellingham became the youngest-ever captain in Dortmund’s history when he donned the captain’s armband in the Bundesliga.

Well, that role was handed to him again in the Champions League last night, which saw him become the youngest-ever Englishman to be a captain in domestic football’s biggest-ever stage.
It’s just one of many reasons why teams across Europe are so keen on signing him, including Liverpool making the all-action midfielder their top transfer target for 2023.
Carragher would no doubt want Bellingham to be donning Liverpool colours next summer, as he reacted to his goal last night.
“Jude Bellingham is the captain on the night and I think he’s the youngest Englishman to captain a team in the Champions League,” said Carragher.
Henry could then be heard purring in the background as Carragher reacted to his goal: “This guy is an absolute superstar, he really is.”

BELLINGHAM THE ALL-ROUND PACKAGE
He’s not even out of his teenage years, nowhere near his peak, yet there aren’t many things that Bellingham can’t do on the football pitch.
From being a vocal figure on the field of play, being brave on the ball, his ability to win ground duels, power past opponents with his ball-carrying skills, composure, goal threat, and forward-thinking mentality when passing and playing with high intensity.
Bellingham can do the absolute lot, and whilst Dortmund are enjoying his services right now, whoever gets him next will have a diamond to work with
But just like his former club teammate, Erling Haaland, now at Manchester City, he has to make sure that he makes the right move for himself only.
