Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about James Milner on the club’s official website.
Klopp has said that Milner was an incredible signing on a free transfer for Liverpool.
The former Newcastle United and Aston Villa star joined Liverpool back in the summer of 2015 after leaving Manchester City.
Brendan Rodgers, now the manager of Leicester City, was the manager of the Reds at the time.
Liverpool boss Klopp has also praised the signing of defender Joel Matip on a free transfer.

Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “The club had incredible free transfers with James [Milner] and Joel [Matip], and we brought real talents in with Robbo and other guys.”

Superb signing
In our view, Milner has been superb for Liverpool over the years and still remains an important figure in the team.
The Englishman may be 36 years of age, but he is still going as strong as ever.
Milner is a very good utility who can operate as a winger, midfielder or full-back.
The former Manchester City player may not be a regular in the starting lineup, but he is always available and does his job well.
Milner is one of the rare Premier League footballers who are very consistent, and, in our opinion, Liverpool are a better team with him in it.
