Natalie Sawyer has shared that she has been told that ‘Brentford are still unsure’ what Leeds, Everton and Manchester United transfer target, Christian Eriksen, is going to do this summer, as she told talkSPORT.

The TV and Radio presenter shared that she has been speaking to people inside Brentford and they still don’t know what Eriksen will do this summer, as she added that the 30-year-old is starting to be ‘disrespectful’ by delaying his move.

Following his collapse at Euro 2020, Eriksen spent several months on the sidelines, before returning to action in the colours of Thomas Frank’s side.

He made quite the impact by changing the club’s form and playing a part in them securing their safety in their first season in the Premier League.

But, with pre-season around the corner, Eriksen, who is attracting interest from several clubs, still hasn’t decided what he is going to do next, as Sawyer shared her thoughts on the player.

“From what I gather and from what I know,” said Sawyer. “Brentford are still unsure about what he is going to do. They have, of course, laid down a contract offer for him and they are waiting for him to get back to them on that.

“I have spoken about him before. I would love for him to re-sign for us. I think it would be an even bigger story if he re-signs for us, that will show that he has loved his time and this is the place he wants to continue my career at.

“Wheres, if he moves somewhere else, it will feel like we were that little stepping stone. Equally, I would have been glad to have seen Christian Eriksen in a red and white striped shirt. But I am getting to the point where I am a little fed up of it. I am turning a little, I am getting to the point where I think it’s a bit disrespectful now. Show us a bit of class and tell us what you want to do.

“But, from what I know, from the people I have been in touch with at the club, they still don’t know what’s going on.”

WHO WILL ERIKSEN SIGN FOR?

Does Eriksen move to out-of-sorts Manchester United and join up with Erik ten Hag, with the Old Trafford-based club being able to offer him European football?

Or does he make a romantic return to Brentford, the club that offered him the chance to play in January, when in truth, he didn’t have that many offers on the table?

Or could he join two sides that need lifting after surviving relegation by the skin of their teeth last season? In Everton and Leeds.

Well, with some players already returning to pre-season and clubs set to go on their big tours, surely Eriksen has to make a call because how long does he want to leave making a decision?
