The Saudi Pro-League have enjoyed an interesting summer window and on Premier League deadline day they have landed one of their prized targets.

Ivan Toney has been linked with a host of clubs throughout the summer, including the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

But a deal in England never materialised and now Toney, who has just a year left on his deal at Brentford, has decided he needs to leave the Premier League.

Ivan Toney signs huge contract with Al-Ahli

Toney has decided that instead of waiting until next summer to leave Brentford on a free transfer, he needed to move now and he has put pen-to-paper with Al-Ahli.

After going through his medical on Friday morning, HITC is told by sources close to the player that the 28-year-old has now penned a three-year deal understood to be worth in excess of £400,000-a-week.

Al-Ahli had also been in talks with Victor Osimhen, but the deal they have done is for Toney.

Victor Osimhen talks to continue

For Osimhen’s part, he had agreed terms with Al-Ahli but talks continued at the same time with Chelsea whilst his club Napoli talked over the details of a permanent deal.

It is understood that Napoli and Al-Ahli agreed terms, only for the Italian club to ask for more and it now remains to be seen, if a deal will happen at all.

The Saudi Pro League can still do a deal for Osimhen in the coming days as their window does not close until Monday.
