Tim Sherwood has made it clear that there is ‘no chance’ Antonio Conte will change his style of play at Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Spurs boss seemingly had a pop at Daniel Levy by claiming that ‘if the demands are to play a certain way, then don’t bring Conte or Jose Mourinho to the club’.
Whilst Spurs have only lost two games in all competitions this season, many have felt that the results have been there, but not the performances.

And as soon as they lost a highly-charged and emotional north London derby, then the talk regarding their style of play was just going to ramp up again.
Conte is a proven winner wherever he has gone and Spurs fans are keen for him to change their fortunes around.
Speaking about Conte’s style and those having a moan, Sherwood made it clear that the Italian is a winner and that’s all that matters, as he told Sky Sports News.
On Conte playing pretty football: “No chance, absolutely zero chance,” said Sherwood. “Everyone knows Antonio Conte’s style. Some people like it, and some people don’t. The players have to buy into it.
“The emotion of that game, with it being the north London derby, it hurts the fans. It’s not pretty to watch. But why should Antonio Conte change? He does what he does over the years because he wins. Everywhere he has been, he has won.
“All he needs to do is win a trophy. We haven’t won a trophy for a very, very long time. But I think that they are capable of winning under this guy. I really believe in him. Don’t worry about the style. He doesn’t care if he’s entertaining or not, as long as he’s winning.
“The fans are going to have to get used to it. I don’t think he needs to change. Why should he? It’s not his fault he plays that style of football, it’s the person who brought him into the football club.
“If the demands are to play a certain way, then don’t bring Antonio Conte or Jose Mourinho into the football club. If you want someone who is going to give you a trophy, then bring Conte to the club.”

NOISE LOUDER ON THE OUTSIDE THAN ON THE INSIDE
Any team losing against their rivals, regardless of their position, is going to generate a lot of noise and that’s what happened to Tottenham against Arsenal a number of weeks ago.
The noise around Conte’s style and the team, from an attacking sense, not looking pretty to the eye, stems more from the outside than the inside.
Within those stands at Tottenham, there is nothing but backing for the manager in their dugout and the hope that he can end their trophy drought.
Whether it’s the League Cup or FA Cup, however, he gets Spurs over the line, as long as he does it, won’t matter one bit to the fans because if they can start winning trophies, then that’s all they will care about.
