Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after spotting what Renato Sanches had liked on Twitter, amid reports Mikel Arteta wants him.

What’s the story?

Well, according to 90min, Arsenal are keen to sign the 23-year-old, who shone for Portugal at EURO 2020.

Sanches went into the tournament as a French champion, dramatically beating Paris Saint-German to the Ligue 1 title with Lille.

Now, Arsenal – and also Liverpool – are keen to bring him to the Premier League.

It has been said that the Gunners made contact with Lille in regards to the Portugal international.

Elsewhere, others have claimed that Sanches is among Liverpool’s top targets this summer.

One eagle-eyed Arsenal fan noticed that Sanches had liked a tweet from his former Lille teammate Gabriel Magalhães.

The tweet claimed that London is red, something that Sanches clearly seems to agree with.

Now, this probably doesn’t mean anything.

However, it’s not the first time Sanches has mentioned Arsenal on social media.

Keep an eye on this saga, as it seems Gabriel and Sanches are very close.

Agent Magalhães could potentially help get this one over the line.
