It is deadline day in the January transfer window and Liverpool are reportedly looking for a late loan move for a midfielder. The Mail have reported that the club is considering moves for midfielders from top European clubs such as PSG, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

In our view, if Liverpool are looking to loan midfielders from those three clubs, there’s one signing that would make the world of sense – Saul Niguez.

Saul has been a key player for Atletico Madrid over the years, but he has fallen out of favour under Diego Simeone this season. The Spanish midfielder has only started six games in La Liga this season and it seems that he is not a major part of Simeone’s plans going forward.
