Tim Sherwood has stated that ‘it says everything’ about Manchester City’s strength that Arsenal’s best players are Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The former Premier League boss added that Man City are a ‘level above everyone’, especially given they have Erling Haaland at their disposal now.
Despite all that power, it’s Mikel Arteta’s side who are sitting at the top of the Premier League tree heading into the final fixture before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

If the Gunners can beat Wolves on Saturday evening, then they will be at the top of the Premier League table at Christmas and it’s been a long time since fans have seen that.
The captures of Zinchenko and Jesus, especially the latter, have played a huge role in that, with Manchester City happy to see them join their former coach at the Emirates.
Well, that has now benefited Arsenal and they are now in a title race, but Sherwood can only see one outcome, as he told Premier League Productions (07/11/22 at 2:25 pm).
“Arsenal have an opportunity here to win the title,” said Sherwood. “Now, do I think they are going to do it? No, because I think Manchester City are so strong. They have Haaland, which makes them even stronger, like Mikel said, they have Pep Guardiola, who is the best manager in the world.
“But they are on it. After 15 games, they are top of the Premier League. Will they strengthen again? They win one more game and go into Christmas at the top of the league. Why shouldn’t they strengthen?
“I tell you a good indication of why I don’t think. Two of their best players are Zinchenko and Jesus. They have come from Man City, it says everything.
“Man City are a level above everyone. But if you can just stay in there. I think they are built of different stuff now. He has put this together. I think the style is magnificent. They are brave. They trust him.”

JESUS REWARDED FOR ARSENAL FORM
The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is around the corner and Gabriel Jesus has been rewarded for his form in the colours of Arsenal.
If he was at Manchester City, would he have been selected? The answer is probably no, because whilst he can play across the front three, he wouldn’t have played up top because of Haaland.
Instead, he would have been in and out of the side, which probably would have resulted in Brazil boss Tite leaving him out.
But the 25-year-old was brave in leaving his comfort zone at the Etihad and now he is being rewarded for it.
