Alexander Isak has reacted to Newcastle United’s brilliant victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Eddie Howe’s boys moved fourth in the Premier League table by securing a 2-1 win at Spurs.
Despite Tottenham shooting themselves in the foot regarding the concession of both goals, it was still a fine game from Newcastle and one that has prompted beliefs that they could finish in this top four.
Obviously it’s very early in the day for such talk, but the fact that Howe is being asked about a top-four finish is indicative of the fact that United are a team on the rise – and rapidly, too.

Newcastle managed this victory without Allan Saint-Maximin or Isak, two of their best attacking stars.
And the £60 million Swede – out injured until after the World Cup – summed up his thoughts about his teammates on Instagram.
On his Instagram story, he posted a snap of Miguel Almiron – who scored Newcastle’s second goal – celebrating with Joelinton, to the caption, ‘What a team!’.
Well, that about sums it up.
Howe is overseeing a very exciting project in the North East right now and Isak’s caption is an apt one, to say the least.
This looks like a class team and it’ll fascinating to see how much better they can become when the big man and Saint-Maximin are back at it.
