After being rejected by Marcelo Bielsa following crunch talks in London on Thursday, Farhad Moshiri has moved on to his second choice for the Toffees.
Sky Sports believe Dyche is expected to be hired today as Everton’s hunt for a Lampard replacement seemingly comes to an end.
However, with the Kettering-born tactician in the headlines, rumours have emerged that he supports Everton’s bitter rivals.

Well, Everton fans will not be happy.
Just as it started to emerge that Anthony Gordon may support Liverpool as he skips two training sessions at Finch Farm, it seems their next manager is also a fan of the Reds.
Dyche has openly admitted to supporting Liverpool in the past.
During an interview with LADbible TV, the man with 72 Premier League wins to his name said: “I was a Seventies kid so I supported Liverpool. My local Kettering, Kettering Town, me and my dad used to go down and watch them, they were pretty big in the non-league scene but Liverpool from a distance.”
Dyche has also revealed that his favourite player growing up was Sir Kenny Dalglish.
In the same interview with LADbible TV, he said: “Got to be King Kenny. I met him in the most bizarre circumstances because I’m obviously a man and he treats you like a man in football, but in my brain I’m going ‘you’re King Kenny’ and he’s just chatting to me going ‘oh alright, Burnley are going alright’, and I’m still going ‘you’re King Kenny’ in my head.”
Now, after seeing how Rafa Benitez was treated at Goodison Park based on his association with Liverpool, it will be interesting to see how Dyche is received, should his reign at Everton begin badly.
