Manchester United have eight players competing in the Euros this summer and one player in particular has struck fear into an opposition manager.
Despite the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho missing out, the Red Devils are well-represented at this summer’s Euros with Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo both making the England squad.
The Three Lions have underwhelmed in Germany so far, with Gareth Southgate’s side settling for a draw against a Denmark side that included both Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen.
The latter has had a superb tournament thus far, scoring in Denmark’s opener against Slovenia before causing headaches for English duo Declan Rice and Trent Alexander-Arnold in midfield.
Denmark are set to finish their group matches with a clash against Serbia on Tuesday night where a win would guarantee them a spot in the knockout stages.
Ahead of the match, Serbia boss Dragan Stojkovic singled out Eriksen as a threat that his side must be wary of.
Christian Eriksen for Denmark at Euro 2024
After struggling to break into the Manchester United first team for large parts of last season, Eriksen has been one of the standout performers at the Euros.
Playing in behind United teammate Hojlund, his link-up play and shots from range have proved difficult to deal with.
During Tuesday’s managerial press conference in Munich, Stojkovic highlighted the danger of Eriksen, “Christian Eriksen is one of the players who has marked an era in the world of football.
“I am really happy that he is with us and that he is here and playing but I would love to see him on the bench because he is a fantastic player with a lot of intelligence.
“He is very precise in his game and he has a very powerful kick. If he starts, we have to take good care of him.”

Manchester United must make a decision on Christian Eriksen
The Danish playmaker is under contract at Old Trafford until next summer, so United must choose to stick or sell.
The 32-year-old stumbled down Erik ten Hag‘s pecking order last season with Casemiro, Mainoo and Mason Mount all playing ahead of him.

But Eriksen has shown in Germany that he still has plenty to offer from a central position whether that be goals, assists or the ability to dictate the pace of a game.
There was interest in his signature earlier this year with HITC revealing that Eriksen rebuffed interest from Turkey and the UAE to remain with Manchester United.
