Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after spotting something interesting in photos of Arsenal’s pre-season training.
What’s the story?
Well, some eagle-eyed Arsenal fans noticed 20-year-old James Hillson’s inclusion in Mikel Arteta’s pre-season camp.
Interestingly, the goalkeeper was wearing the No.32 on his training shirt.
Now, of course, that number belongs to Emile Smith Rowe.
After seeing Hillson wearing the shirt, a few fans below think Smith Rowe will now be changing his number ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
It’s something Thomas Partey has already done. The Ghanian has taken the No.5 shirt after Sokratis left the Emirates Stadium.
Now, Smith Rowe could be set to join him in swapping numbers.
What could Smith Rowe change to?

Luckily for Smith Rowe, he is spoilt for choice.
As things stand, Arsenal’s No.8, No.10 and No.11 shirts are all vacant.
Aaron Ramsey last wore the No.8 shirt before joining Juventus.
Of course, the No.10 shirt was Mesut Ozil’s before his January exit.
We thought we’d seen a new home for the No.11 shirt when Martin Odegaard arrived in January.

However, the shirt is now vacant again, after the Norwegian announced he’d be staying at Real Madrid.
In our view, the No.8 shirt would suit Smith Rowe very nicely.
For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about the photo of Hillson…
