Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has told Leeds Live that forward Sonny Perkins will not play against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League this weekend due to injury.
Marsch has said that, like fellow forward Rodrigo, Perkins is injured too.
We already knew that Spain international forward Rodrigo is a long-term injury concern for Leeds.
Rodrigo suffered a serious injury against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup last weekend and will not play until the end of March at least.
And now we are hearing from Marsch that Perkins is also out.
The 18-year-old forward, who joined Leeds in the summer of 2022 after leaving West Ham United, played against Accrington Stanley last weekend.
Perkins came on as a substitute in the 76th minute.

The Leeds no. 16 has made one appearance in the Carabao Cup and two substitute appearances in the FA Cup so far this season.
The West Yorkshire outfit are not having the best of times in the Premier League at the moment and could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Marsch said: “Adam we’re building up but not quite ready, Stuart is making really good progress, Sonny Perkins picked up an injury too.”
