Ezgjan Alioski has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to injury news regarding Leeds United forward Rodrigo.
The former Leeds star has wished his former Elland Road teammate the best of luck in his recovery from injury.
Leeds forward Rodrigo has suffered a serious injury and will now be on the sidelines for a considerable amount of time.
As announced on Leeds’s official website, Rodrigo will be out of action for two months due to an ankle injury he sustained against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup last weekend.
The Spain international forward suffered bone and ligament damage as a result of a challenge and has undergone minor surgery.
Leeds believe that Rodrigo will be back in action for the first team by the end of March.
As you can see below, the forward has posted a heartbreaking photo of himself at the hospital following his injury.
While Rodrigo is staying positive, it is clearly very disappointing for the player and for Leeds, especially as he has been playing s well this season.
The 31-year-old has scored 10 goals and given one assist in 17 Premier League starts for Jesse Marsch’s side so far this season.
Leeds are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
