Paul Robinson has given his verdict on the second goal that Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison scored against Everton at Goodison Park.

The former Tottenham goalkeeper was hugely impressed by Richarlison’s heroics.

So, what has Paul Robinson said about Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison? Let’s take a look.

Praise for Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison vs Everton

Well, Tottenham Hotspur took on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Richarlison started the match for Spurs. He has become the main striker for Tottenham in recent weeks, and he delivered the goods yet again.

The £50 million (Sky Sports) Brazil international scored twice in the first half, first in the fourth minute and then on 41 minutes.

Former Tottenham forward Paul Robinson was following the match for BBC Sport, and he was particularly impressed by the second goal from Richarlison, who, according to Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou, can still develop and grow.

It was the Brazilian’s fourth goal in five appearances in the Premier League against Everton.

England international attacking midfielder James Maddison found Richarlison on the edge of the box. The former Everton and Watford forward took a touch and then curled it into the top right corner.

Robinson said about Richarlison’s second goal on BBC Sport: “Incredible finish. We talked about strikers in form and acting on instinct. Richarlison has time to open it up and it is worked to him

“He finds the top corner and there is nothing Pickford could do about that. In all honesty, it is against the run of play.”

My View: Richarlison is a big player for Tottenham Hotspur

In my opinion, Richarlison is starting to play consistently well for Tottenham Hotspur and is becoming a big player for the North London club.

The 26-year-old forward struggled to make a huge impact for Spurs last season. He scored just one goal and gave three assists in 12 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season.

Richarlison has already scored way more goals this season, and I think that there is more to come from him.
