Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has given his verdict on Richarlison.
The former Celtic manager has been hugely impressed by how well Richarlison has done for Tottenham in recent weeks and has outlined his importance in his team.
So, what has Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou said about Richarlison? Let’s take a look.
Ange Postecoglou praises Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison
Well, Tottenham Hotspur will take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Ahead of the match Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou has said that midfielders James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr are available.
The Spurs boss has also noted how well Richarlison has been playing for the North London club. The Brazil international forward is likely to lead the line for Spurs against his former club Everton.

Postecoglou told Football.London when asked if Richarlison has relished being the main man with Son away: “It’s probably one for Richy to answer more but I think it’s helped that Richy has had a consistent run in the team and any player feels that confidence in himself.
“The goals are obviously important because that’s everyone’s measure, but I think his general game is improving and that’s the main thing for me. That’s what I’ve seen. The way we play and the kind of player Richy is, I was always confident he would score goals but we need more than that.
“I think his work rate now defensively, which was really important when we had Sonny up there, hasn’t dropped off with Richy there. He’s working really hard for the team and the Ks (kilometres) he did the other night was right up there.
“Then his link up and hold up play is improving all the time. See I love that. I love when players still want to improve and do improve rather than say he’s played for his national team and been here quite a while. I can see him developing further and that’s what you want as a manager and coach. For us, he’s becoming a really important player.”
My View: Richarlison has stepped up for Tottenham Hotspur
In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has stepped up his game in recent weeks. Ian Wright has been impressed.
The Brazil international forward had a poor campaign last season and failed to make a huge impact for Spurs.
Richarlison scored one goal and gave three assists in 12 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season. The 26-year-old also scored two goals in six UEFA Champions League.
So far this campaign, the former Everton and Watford forward has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 14 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League.
Richarlison is working hard for the team and is a nuisance for the opposition defenders. He seems to be enjoying his role as the main man up front.
