Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has ripped into Leeds fans after they watched their side suffer a 4-1 defeat to the Eagles.

Goals from Scott Dann, Eberechi Eze and Jordan Ayew, as well as an own-goal from Helder Costa, handed Roy Hodgson’s men the three points, which led to a bizarre tweet from Jordan.

The talkSPORT pundit tweeted: ‘To all #lufc fans that piled in because I dared make the observation below …. #CRYLEE …… ooops 4-1 or more to the point …. in ur face.’

Jordan is referring to his comments about Marcelo Bielsa.

He recently told talkSPORT that he doesn’t think Leeds are that good, adding that he doesn’t ‘bow to the temple’ of their Argentine boss like others do.

The ex-Eagles chairman also tweeted an explanation behind his slightly childish post, saying that he received a lot of abuse following his comments.

It appears that Jordan has simply retaliated to those who disagreed with his opinions on talkSPORT by ripping into them following Leeds’ heavy defeat.

Bielsa’s men have now lost two games in a row by a 4-1 score-line, having been defeated by Leicester last week by the same margin.

Jordan is entitled to his opinion, but he is only risking the wrath of the Elland Road faithful even more by adding fuel to the flames.

Another talkSPORT pundit in Gabriel Agbonlahor has also been prodding Leeds supporters recently, so much so that the club’s official account mocked him after they beat his former side Aston Villa recently.
