Leeds’ official Twitter account has humiliated Aston Villa-centric talkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor following yesterday’s 3-0 win over the Villans.

The former Aston Villa striker has been piping up a lot on social media lately.

One of his recent tweets referred to Leeds as a ‘myth’ while he also wished everyone ‘but Leeds fans’ a good morning on Twitter lately for some reason.

His bold social media activity came back to bite him on Friday evening, as Marcelo Bielsa’s men romped to a 3-0 win thanks to a stunning hat-trick from Patrick Bamford.

Leeds certainly enjoyed rubbing Agbonlahor’s face in it.

The club tweeted two images. One was a compilation of three tweets from the pundit mocking Leeds, while the second was an image of Bamford celebrating with his teammates.

The post was captioned: ‘How it started. How it ended.’

It’s safe to say that the Yorkshire-based outfit had the last laugh.

In response to Leeds’ comeback, Agbonlahor posted a GIF of someone hiding, implying that he is keen to avoid the backlash of his comments.

His response can be seen below.

Leeds now sit third in the Premier League, level on points with Liverpool and just three points off Everton, who sit top – Bielsa’s men have played a game more, however.
