Paul Merson has written in SportsKeeda that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could be in trouble if any of the front-four gets injured.

The Sky Sports pundit made the comments while looking ahead to the Premier League game between Arsenal and Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

The former Arsenal star believes if the Gunners keep their front-four fit, then they will have a very successful season,

Merson has also backed the North London club to beat Leicester 3-0.

Paul Merson on Arsenal v Leicester City

The pundit wrote in SportsKeeda: “The front four look lively for Arsenal. They’ve got everything between them and if they stay fit, Arsenal are going to have a good Premier League season.

“If one of them gets injured, however, they’re in trouble. I thought Arsenal were outstanding in their first 20 minutes against Crystal Palace.

“I was very impressed by them at times last week, and I think they should be able to win this game easily.”

Brilliant attack

In our view, Arsenal have a very good attacking unit, and that will be massive for the Gunners in their quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Gabriel Jesus is the number nine for Arsenal now, and Arteta has Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka in attack as well.

Then there is also Emile Smith Rowe.

Now, of course, injuries in their attacking unit be a problem, but we do think that Arteta will be prepared for it.

Arteta will surely tweak his tactic or have a plan if Saka, Jesus, Martinelli, Odegaard or Smith Rowe is injured for a long period of time.
