Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has praised Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa on Twitter.

Bravo has hailed Bielsa for guiding Leeds to the top flight of English football.

West Bromwich Albion’s defeat to Huddersfield Town away from home in the Championship on Friday evening means that the Whites will finish in the top two of the table whatever happens between now and the end of the season.

Bravo worked with Bielsa when the latter was in charge of Chile, and the City goalkeeper has raved about the Argentine.

Leeds United transfer this summer?

Back in February 2020, En Cancha reported that Bravo could leave Premier League giants City and join Leeds in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).

The report claimed that the 37-year-old former Barcelona goalkeeper would be an option for Leeds, whose head coach Bielsa admires him.

Now that Leeds have been promoted to the Premier League, perhaps a transfer could happen, although that would mean either Kiko Casilla leaving or Illan Meslier not being signed on a permanent contract from Lorient.

The Whites will play in the Premier League next season for the first time since 2004.
