Jody Morris has suggested that Heung-Min Son could be better if he was the ‘main man’ at Tottenham ahead of Harry Kane, as he told the Kick Off on Twitch.
The former Chelsea player added that Son, who is currently the Premier League’s second-highest goalscorer behind Mo Salah, would ‘score more goals’ if he had the main mantel.
On Thursday night, Son netted during Tottenham’s 3-0 win over their north London rivals win over Arsenal.
The £22 million Spurs superstar (Guardian) is currently on 21 Premier League goals – one behind Liverpool’s Salah.
If penalties weren’t included, then Son would be the top scorer in England’s top-flight this season.
Morris shared that there is no chance Son would take a penalty ahead of Kane, but still thinks he would score more if he was that main guy.
“Harry Kane, with Son the other day (against Arsenal), no-one is taking penalties in front of Harry Kane,” said Morris.
On Son currently being top-scoring without pens: “Imagine if he was the main man at Spurs. He would have had so many more goals.”

Harry Kane has won numerous Golden Boots during his career, but for Son to win it with him in the same team, then it would be pretty incredible.
Not forgetting that he would beat the likes of Salah, Sadio Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Diogo Jota to that prize.
Salah came off injured during Liverpool’s FA Cup final win, so questions remain if he will be fit for their clash against Southampton on Tuesday.
If he’s not, then Son has the chance to move ahead of the Egypt flyer in the goalscoring charts – and, as Ian Wright mentioned in midweek, he thinks the South Korean star ‘terrified’ Arsenal on Thursday.
