ACF Fiorentina sporting director Daniel Prade has ruled out a move for Real Madrid playmaker and reported Tottenham target Isco.

Speaking to the press via GIFN, the Serie A club chief revealed that the Italian side will not be making a move for the Spanish international this month, with Fiorentina also linked with Isco.

The Real Madrid star is expected to leave Los Blancos this month, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side eager to trim down the wage bill. As well as Isco, former Tottenham star Gareth Bale is also allowed to leave.

And according to reports, Spurs could be a destination for Isco. The Sunday Mirror (02/01, p67) reported last week that Real Madrid plan to offer Isco to the north London side inside the next two weeks.

Yet one club that won’t be chasing Isco is Fiorentina, with Prade quashing any speculation that the Serie A side will make a move for the midfielder this month.

Prade stated: “In recent days, we have been linked with a move for Isco by many. We don’t even know who his agents are. That is why I’m telling you there is nothing going on about him.”

Fiorentina update is huge for Tottenham’s interest in Isco

Indeed, with Isco having a reported release clause of £593m as per the Sun, the midfielder could be too expensive for Fiorentina. However, this news could be a boost for Spurs given their reported interest in the Madrid star.

With Madrid eager to offload Isco and Spurs in need of a creative presence, Isco could be an ideal signing for Antonio Conte, especially with Fiorentina now out of the running for the former Malaga superstar.
