Spurs have reportedly held talks with Juventus over the signing of American international Weston McKennie.

According to the Independent, Tottenham are eager to sign the 22-year-old midfielder this summer. Juventus are willing to offload McKennie despite his impressive form for the Serie A side last season.

The Old Lady signed the former Schalke 04 star for €18.5m (£15.8m) last season as reported by ESPN. However, returning manager Massimiliano Allegri is not a fan of McKennie, which has alerted Spurs.

Indeed, Fabio Paratici was the man who brought the Texas-born midfielder to Italy last year. And the Spurs official is now seemingly working on signing McKennie for a second time.

With Nuno Espirito Santo eager to bring in a central midfielder this summer, McKennie could be an excellent addition for Spurs in the final days of the window.

And on social media, Tottenham fans are hoping the north London side secure the signature of McKennie. As per the Independent, Juventus will be willing to sell the midfielder for under £40m.
