Gabby Agbonlahor has sent a cryptic message about Leeds United on his Instagram story following their goalless draw against Chelsea on Saturday.
The ex-Aston Villa striker claimed and promised on his Instagram story ‘if a certain team gets relegated, I’ll be back on Twitter’.
Without actually mentioning the Yorkshire giants, it’s pretty clear Agbonlahor is making reference to the 12th-placed side.
Agbonlahor has had a number of war-of-words with the Leeds supporters when he was using Twitter, including labelling their manager, Marcelo Bielsa as a ‘myth’.
When Leeds beat Villa 3-0 in October, the club official Twitter account couldn’t help but throw their own hooks at Agbonlahor following his comments.
And whilst Agbonlahor is off Twitter, for the time being, he has also enjoyed a number of clashes with ex-Whites defender, Danny Mills.
Since the start of February, Leeds have lost five Premier League games, including losing four out of their last six.
And whilst Agbonlahor might enjoy Leeds getting dragged into a relegation battle, it’s very unlikely that will happen because they are ten points clear of the drop zone.
