Arsenal are reportedly looking at alternatives to Dusan Vlahovic, with Alexander Isak a potential option for the Gunners in the final week of the transfer window.
According to the Athletic, the north London side are keeping tabs on the Swedish international. The striker is being viewed by Arsenal as an alternative to Vlahovic, who has been the club’s main striker target this January.
Isak has been linked with a move to Arsenal for some time. However, with Vlahovic unlikely to move to the Premier League so late in the window, Mikel Arteta’s side could now move for the Real Sociedad star.
Arsenal were rumoured with a move for Isak in the summer following the attacker’s impressive displays for Sweden in Euro 2020, and the Gunners could well make a late move for the 22-year-old.
Although the attacker has scored just eight goals this season and has a reported release clause of £75m according to the Evening Standard, Isak is proving to be a popular striking target for Arsenal fans this week.
Indeed, at 22, the forward fits into the criteria of what Arsenal are looking to sign in the market, and Isak has shown in recent seasons just how good he can be in front of goal.
Moreover, Isak enjoyed his best football with Sociedad when Martin Odegaard was on-loan with the Basque club, with the duo complimenting each other well for the La Liga side.
Arsenal fans urge club to sign Isak over Vlahovic

With time running out to sign a striker and Isak having a release clause that could be activated, Arsenal fans are open to the idea of the Gunners signing the Swede as their main striker for the upcoming years.
