Pundit Ben Parker has said that he would like to see Brendan Rodgers become the next Leeds United manager.
The former Whites left-back made this claim on the LS11 YouTube channel, while discussing the club’s managerial situation.
However, pundit Ben Parker admitted that as brilliant as Brendan Rodgers is as a manager, it would be a shock if he made the move to Leeds United.
Pundit Ben Parker is keen on Brendan Rodgers becoming Leeds manager
It was reported last Tuesday that Leeds, who have been relegated from the Premier League are interested in bringing him on board.
With a report on Friday claiming that Daniel Levy is not even considering appointing the former Leicester City boss, perhaps there may be a chance to get the deal over the line after all.
However, pundit Ben Parker disagrees, as he expects Leeds to miss out on Brendan Rodgers and having to look for another manager to take over the helm.

“Brendan Rodgers, I think, is a fantastic manager. I’d be 100% behind that, but can I see him in the Championship? No, even with a club of our size, whatever money he wants, transfer budgets, still no.”
Brendan Rodgers should aim for a Premier League job
Pundit Ben Parker is likely to be spot on, as Brendan Rodgers is far too accomplished a manager to join Leeds in the Championship.
However, stranger things have happened in football and out-of-work coaches have a tendency to pounce at the first job opportunity that presents itself.
While Rodgers’ reputation may be an all-time low due to how his time at Leicester ended, he should aim to take over a Premier League side.
The Northern Irishman has achieved far too much in his career to aim low and manage any club in English football’s second tier.
