Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to Aaron Ramsey’s comments amid claims he would ‘love to re-join’ the club.
It’s been two years since Arsenal parted ways with the midfielder, who admitted to Sky Sports that his time at Juventus has been ‘very frustrating’.
Arsenal fans won’t be surprised to hear that injuries have once again stagnated the 30-year-old’s career after he suffered such problems during his time at the Emirates.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano previously claimed that the forward-thinking midfielder would ‘love’ to re-join the club.
It has been muted in the Italian press that Liverpool are keen on signing his talents this summer, as reported by Tuto Juve.
Given that things aren’t working out for the midfielder in Turin then it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him return to the English scene again.
Arsenal supporters certainly wouldn’t mind him back on their books because since he left, their midfield has, no doubt, gradually become worse and worse.
Thomas Partey was brought in last summer to try and lift matters in the middle of the park, but his season faded away, whilst the likes of Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka aren’t far away from criticism.
A bigger summer awaits those in the Arsenal boardroom and whether it’s the midfield, forward areas or their defence line, it all needs cleaning and refreshing after an abject campaign.
