Juventus reportedly want to get rid of Aaron Ramsey, and Arsenal simply have to make a move for him and bring him back to the Emirates Stadium.

Especially as Juventus are willing to sell Ramsey for just €12 million (£10.34 million).

Especially as Liverpool want the 30-year-old Wales international midfielder.

TuttoJuve reported earlier this week that Liverpool are interested in signing Ramsey from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

The report claimed that the Italian giants were initially looking for €20 million (£17.24 million), but they would be willing to drop their asking price to €12 million (£10.34 million) just to get rid of the player they signed in 2019.

Ramsey left Arsenal to move to Juventus on a free transfer and reportedly earns £325,000 per week.

Much was expected of the Wales international when he arrived in Italy, but injuries and failure to adapt to the playing style means that he is now a peripheral figure at Juventus.

The former Arsenal star has made just 13 starts in Serie A and made only five starts in the Champions League for Juventus this season.

Ramsey had injury problems at Arsenal as well, and while some fans will question why the Gunner should bring him back, you have to ask whether he would be better than what manager Mikel Arteta has at the moment.

Yes, he would.

Ramsey is a versatile midfielder who can drive the team forward, put in a tackle or two, and also help out defensively.

The Wales international is a very good central midfielder who would be a good option to have in the team.

Gareth Bale, on loan at Tottenham Hotspur from Real Madrid, rates his Wales international teammate highly.

Bale told  The Times in July 2016: “Aaron is one of the best I have played with. He has so much ability and is one of the very best midfielders.”

Granit Xhaka reportedly wants to leave, while Mohamed Elneny has not been exactly great this season.

True, Ramsey may not be the the perfect partner to Thomas Partey in the middle of the park, but the midfielder would be a good option as a substitute or to start in certain games.

Ramsey apparently himself wants to move to the Gunners. The Express has quoted well-known Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano as saying that the Welshman “would love to join Arsenal again”.

Arsenal recently showed their appreciation of Ramsey on Twitter, and that led to some fans urging the Gunners to bring him back.

For €12 million (£10.34 million), Arsenal technical director Edu should at least try for Ramsey, even if they have to convince Ramsey to take a pay-cut to return to the Emirates Stadium.
