West Ham United were beaten 4-0 by Manchester City last night.
Ian Wright has told BT Sport, during their live coverage of West Ham United’s match against Manchester City, that Slaven Bilic got his tactics all wrong last night.
West Ham were beaten 4-0 by City at the London Stadium yesterday, and they never threatened during the contest.
Harry Redknapp predicts who will finish higher this season: Spurs or Arsenal
Wright could not believe the Hammers’ approach in the match, as they did not press City’s back line.

West Ham, instead, let Pep Guardiola’s side play with little pressure on them and City put them to the sword.
City carved West Ham open on numerous occasions, with Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Yaya Toure all getting on the scoresheet.

And Wright said: “When you consider what Manchester City have done to West Ham in previous games, you’d have thought they would have some sort of game plan of trying to stay closer. There was too much space!
“You would have thought they would have stayed tight, and pressed them. It didn’t happen.”

West Ham had been in good form going into their match against City, but they simply could not cope with Guardiola’s side’s attacking quality.
The Hammers are now in 11th place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against Southampton at the weekend.
