Ian Wright told Alan Shearer on Twitter ‘look how happy’ he looks that Harry Kane might be leaving Tottenham Hotspur and securing a transfer to German giants, Bayern Munich.

If that happens, then the Newcastle United legend’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record will stay intact because, as of this moment, Harry Kane is hunting that down at a rapid pace.

Despite Tottenham producing a shambolic season, Kane still managed to score 30 Premier League goals last time out, which took his overall tally to 213.

That means, he is now 47 goals behind equaling Alan Shearer’s record – but, it might not be broken if Kane gets his move to Bayern Munich.

On Sunday, when Newcastle United tweeted that ‘on this day 27 years ago’, they signed their legendary striker, it drew a response from his Match of the Day colleague, Ian Wright.

The Arsenal legend knows his partner in crime too well, as he wrote the following message on Twitter:

“Look how happy man is that Harry (Kane) might be going,” said Wright, added with laughing emojis.

Will Kane break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record?

At the age of 30, if he stays on in England’s top-flight, then there is every chance that it could be broken by the end of the next campaign.

But if he does move to Bayern, then you have to question if Shearer’s record stands, although, there is every chance Kane could return.

If he decided to join Bayern, win his trophies, then in his mid-to-late 30s, come back to the Premier League and chalked off the rest of the goals, then whilst Shearer will be urging Bayern to get this deal done, it doesn’t mean that it’s over, yet.
