Ian Wright comments on West Ham United’s Arthur Masuaku

Ian Wright said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (8:44pm, December 17, 2018) that he likes West Ham United left-back Arthur Masuaku.

The former Arsenal and West Ham striker has suggested that Masuaku is good going forward.

Wright said about Masuaku on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (8:44pm, December 17, 2018): “I quite like him going forward. He has got nice skills about him.”

Criticism from West Ham United fans

Masuaku is a good player, but defensively the left-back leaves much to be desired, and his performances for West Ham so far this season have been mixed.

According to WhoScored, Masuaku – who joined West Ham from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016 – has made 12 starts and one substitute appearances for West Ham so far this season, providing one assist, winning 0.8 header, making 2.8 tackles, 1.8 interceptions and three clearances, and 0.4 key passes per game on average.

West Ham are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 17 matches.
